Texas Saltwater Reports, Detailed Fishing Reports

If you are a sportsman, whether you enjoy saltwater fishing or freshwater fishing then we have a fishing report for you. A fishing report for all types of fishing that would include reports like a bass fishing report from Arkansas to a salmon fishing report from Lake Michigan to a flounder fishing report from the Maryland Chesapeake Bay. For anglers that would like to place fishing reports on your own site you can use our fifferent feeds and put FinClix fishing reports on any page.

Saltwater Fishing Reports, Freshwater Fishing Reports

This is the Texas Saltwater Reports category with a list of up to 12 Texas Saltwater Reports. If you would like to read Texas Saltwater Reports as a single report simply go to the main fishing report page and select the title of the report and click on it. Some anglers just like to read certain fishing reports from exotic locales and dream about the day they will be able to take a fishing trip to whatever fishing paradise they are thinking about. For instance we have Key West fishing reports that tell us about extreme light tackle fishing and the excitiment of fighting a 100 pound tarpon in 3 feet of water while he sometimes walks on water during his effort to escape the pull of the angler and his rod n reel. Key West provides plenty of fishing action but for some it is not a likely destination so they read the reports and dream about a Key West fishing trip. Who knows? In time maybe those anglers that dream about fishing in a far off paradise will get their wish eventually and instead of their own they will write a report about their tropical island fishing vacation.

Fishing Report:

Hi everyone! Just wanted to inform all of you that we will be back on the water on a regular basis in 2-3 weeks. We are still running a few trips with mixed success, but for the most part we are doing some work with our sponsors and some minor boat repairs. We do have some shows & seminars coming up in Feb. & Mar. With the number of keeper & oversized redfish and the ABUNDANCE of 14-16 in. speckled trout we caught in 2009, I really think 2010 will be an excellent year for fishing. Our fish in the Galveston Bay system are very healthy & all those undersized trout will be perfect keepers this Spring & Summer! Well hopefully the next time you read my post it will be a good fishing report from Galveston Bay. Until next time, see you on the water.

Fishing Report:

The fishing on Sabine Lake has been great. The jetties has been spectacular. Limits of trout to 6lbs. Lots of reds mixed with the trout. The best bite has been during the middle of the day. The best baits have been Stanely Wedge Tail Glow/Chart. When the wind lays the the fish have been coming up to the top and hitting topwater. Glow SheDogs have taken the majority of the fish. There are a few birds working in the lake. Most of the fish are small but there are a few nice keeper fish mixed in with them. If the winds continues to lay down look for the short rigs to heat up.

Fishing Report:

The fishing is as good as it gets on Sabine. The key to finding good solid fish is finding good water. The best water has been on the Louisiana shoreline between Willow Bayou and Blue Buck Point. The best bite has been when the tide first starts going out. The best baits have been 5" bass assassin in glow/chart and woodpecker. The rat red are thick along the bank on the Louisiana shoreline. There are some nice keeper red mixed in with the rat reds. The best bait has been a gold/silver flake 4 "swim minnows. The flounder bite has been steady picking up as the water warms up. The best bite has been on an incoming around the mouths of the bayous on the Louisiana shoreline. We are also catching some nice fish in Keith Lake cut. The best bait has been chart. curly tails tipped with Fish Bites in the crab flavor.

Tuna Report for Overnighter

Well, fog I heard rolled onto the coast but, past 9 miles it was clear as a bell, so we made the run real deep was worth the trip had 4 charter guys onboard ready for the bite.

Trolled some couldn't get a hookup , so we decided to settle in for the night and hang baits to see what we could get. right off the bat boom blackfin everywhere not more than 2 hrs. and we had boated 50 didn't use any for bait boxed all these , then while they were still there decided on bait , Got 7 yellowfin tuna and boated 9 weighing 65-75lbs., 2 very respective Amberjack 1-35lbs and another 50lber., found junk comming in decided to weigh our chances and sure enough landed 2 mahi 1-35lber and another 45lber. , No wahoo, but, did manage a grouper about 35lbs. really weren't targeting snapper but, managed 2 vermillion, did hook up a huge shark breaking the line after about 20 min. this is one i would have really not wanted to boat.

Interesting Fact on fishing a charter boat deep past 100 miles
In order to run a charter trip like this you must either be a master or have one onboard to run past 100.
No 2- 6 pack captains do not make it legal to run past 100 miles, you must be a Master

2 captain trip overnight very deep
Local texas hotspot for nice fat yellowfin tuna
Nov 30,TUNA TUNA TUNA Talking about getting a Bite for Big fish you guys need to call Lynn and get on these Yellowfin tuna trips dan and I are doing, Our biggest this past trip was 78lbs!
