North Carolina Saltwater, Detailed Fishing Reports

Please enjoy our fishing reports and please post your own report for your state or region. Doesn't matter where you live or what region you fish as we try to display fishing reports for all types and styles of fishing. Fly fishing, surf fishing, wade fishing, to fishing 100 miles offshore in the Gulf Stream off the mid-atlantic coast are just some of the types of fishing reports we display. And that was just the saltwater fishing which is far outnumbered by all the types of freshwater fishing reports we see. We get freshwater reports for bass fishing in Mississippi to mountain stream fishing for trout in Colorado to Salmon fishing in the Great Lakes. Speaking of the Great Lakes, Michigan seems to be very popular for charter boat Captains and their fishing reports.

Some anglers just like to read certain fishing reports from exotic locales and dream about the day they will be able to take a fishing trip to whatever fishing paradise they are thinking about. For instance we have Key West fishing reports that tell us about extreme light tackle fishing and the excitiment of fighting a 100 pound tarpon in 3 feet of water while he sometimes walks on water during his effort to escape the pull of the angler and his rod n reel. Key West provides plenty of fishing action but for some it is not a likely destination so they read the reports and dream about a Key West fishing trip. Who knows? In time maybe those anglers that dream about fishing in a far off paradise will get their wish eventually and instead of their own North Carolina Saltwater they will write a report about their tropical island fishing vacation.

Website: http://www.yeahrightcharters.com Date of Report: 2010-06-19 Type of Fishing: deep sea Fishing Report: 6-19-10 Today we went fishing with Rocky, Carla, Aaron Barnes and Rocky\'s Mother-in-law Jean Gunter all from Sanford,NC Rocky has fished with us for some time now and as always, it is always a real pleasure having him and his family aboard. We were on a 3/4 trip so we couldn\'t head offshore too far, so we went to the Horseshoe area. Here we found the King Mackerel bite to be good today. A lot of boats were reporting a slow bite, and I\'ll admit it wasn\'t \"on fire\" but I do believe the difference was made with us using the Pink Pirate Plug (www.southchathamtackle.com) and the Pink and tinsel Feather weight King Skirt from Blue water candy lures (www.bluewatercandylures.com) We did manage to get our limit and we also had some big fish on that broke our lines and another that bit through the wire on the king rig. Will be on the beach tomorrow chasing Spanish Mackerel and possibly big sharks. Will let you know how we do right here!!! Thanks for taking the time to stop by and read our reports.
