Fly fishing, surf fishing, wade fishing, to fishing 100 miles offshore in the Gulf Stream off the mid-atlantic coast are just some of the types of fishing reports we display. And that was just the saltwater fishing which is far outnumbered by all the types of freshwater fishing reports we see. We get freshwater reports for bass fishing in Mississippi to mountain stream fishing for trout in Colorado to Salmon fishing in the Great Lakes. Speaking of the Great Lakes, Michigan seems to be very popular for charter boat Captains and their fishing reports.

Some anglers just like to read certain fishing reports from exotic locales and dream about the day they will be able to take a fishing trip to whatever fishing paradise they are thinking about. For instance we have Key West fishing reports that tell us about extreme light tackle fishing and the excitiment of fighting a 100 pound tarpon in 3 feet of water while he sometimes walks on water during his effort to escape the pull of the angler and his rod n reel. Key West provides plenty of fishing action but for some it is not a likely destination so they read the reports and dream about a Key West fishing trip. Who knows? In time maybe those anglers that dream about fishing in a far off paradise will get their wish eventually and instead of their own Wisconsin Fishing Reports they will write a report about their tropical island fishing vacation.

Milwaukee Fishing Salmon Reports June 22nd 2010

Charter Fishing Milwaukee the fish have moved deeper in the water column. Look for fish from 30 to 80 down on all presentations. Slide Divers with 160 feet of line out are a steady producer with magnum Reaper Peacock or Fish n Chip spoons. Downriggers from 60 to 80 down on long lead spoons are my go to rig with magnum silver spoons. Customers are enjoying great action on Chinook salmon to 18 pounds. The best action is four to six miles off shore in 90 to 135 feet of water north of Milwaukee. You will find Coho, Chinook, Rainbow and Lake Trout steady and predictable. For Coho you can’t go wrong with spoons in most sizes in green and yellow with glow paint. The Reaper Magnum Peacock spoon in regular or magnum is the answer for Sunny days. White or disco 8 inch flashers with green flies are also an important part of the presentation. The boat speed of 2.0 gave the best results.
